The Launch of Mayo County Development Board’s 10 Year integrated Strategy took place on the 31st of July 2002. This three-part vision is intended to capture and provide a framework for the thrust and policy direction of all those who make up the County Development Board. We want to make Mayo A Great Place in Which to Work, Invest & Visit and A Great Place to Live. We also want the County to be A Model of Sustainable Development. Sustainable Development principles must underpin all our efforts to realise the first two parts of the vision.
