Comhairle na nÓg Mhaigheo - Supported by Mayo County Development Board and Foroige
Comhairle has developed into a vibrant working group for young people in the county. Meetings are regularly attended by large numbers of participants from varied backgrounds and Comhairle is seen as an important forum for all issues effecting young people in Mayo and beyond.
Comhairle members are given the opportunity identify to these issues and are supported in developing their own ideas, strategies and solutions by trained staff and youth workers.
Comhairle na nOg Mhaigheo prides itself on its motivation and creativity in promoting the Comhairle project and making it a meaningful and worthwhile experience for all involved, in 2010 alone Comhairle members have been involved in the following events:

'Excel 10' Script writing workshops

Mayo Science and Technology festival
These events among others have added to Comhairles growing reputation as the most effective way of linking young people and decision makers in a real and meaningful way in Mayo and nationwide,
